hello! im ash, the host and representative of the snail system, known collectively online as snailful. we are in need of support. we are a minor, and cannot currently support ourselves. we have a nonverbal alter who uses discord nitro to access emojis made for nonverbal people to use. we are asking for commissions paid in the form of nitro.

we accept payments of discord nitro and nitro classic.
you can pay with either, though please note that regular nitro is more expensive than nitro classic. however, with regular nitro, you can also commission a painted piece- this is an option if you pay with classic.

terms of service
tl ; dr
x⠀⠀we own the artwork, and the commissioned image may not be used commercially or without credit.
x⠀⠀we only accept nitro, no other payments are valid.
x⠀⠀commissioned characters must be appropriate.
x⠀⠀refunds are given on a case-by-case scenario.
x⠀⠀proper reference and order sheet is required.
x⠀⠀we should be contacted on discord only.
image rights
x⠀⠀we, the artists, hold all rights to the commissioned artwork itself. you, the client are allowed the image for personal use, and only that.
x⠀⠀as the original artists and image rightsholder, we are permitted to use commissioned artwork as portfolio pieces and examples. clients will still be credited alonside the artwork as the character owner.
x⠀⠀commercial redistribution of artwork is not permitted. when posting artwork, linked credit to our tumblr blog (snail-bug) is required.
x⠀⠀you may not alter artwork or claim it as your own in any way. this includes using it without credit (see above).
content rules
x⠀⠀you may not commission artwork that includes nudity or suggestive themes. gore is permitted in moderation.
x⠀⠀we will not draw content that may trigger us for personal reasons.
x⠀⠀if a design if overly complex or confusing, we may refuse to draw it.
x⠀⠀you may not commission art of characters you do not own without explicit permission from the creator.
x⠀⠀you may, however, commission art of characters from popular media. please note with this that we are not experts on every piece of media, though, and may not recognize your character.
payment policy
x⠀⠀we exclusively accept discord nitro subscriptions as compensation.
x⠀⠀we will begin the art process once the nitro has been gifted via dms.
x⠀⠀there is no way to return nitro after accepting it, so refunds are not accepted.
other guidelines
x⠀⠀if you wish to contact us for commission information, do so via direct messaging us on discord.
x⠀⠀you must provide at least one clear visual reference of the requested character for me to follow. please provide any additional information to draw the character correctly.
x⠀⠀a wip sketch will be provided for you to inform us of any changes you would like in the artwork.
x⠀⠀we do not have a set time limit on commissions, but we try our best to take less than a month between payment and product.
x⠀⠀if you didn't read the tos, that is your own problem. we will not accommodate for your own ignorance.
* we, our and us, in all contexts, refers to the snail system, snailful, or snail-bug. these are all aliases for our system.
